End of Month Reminders
September will end soon so this is a good time to take a look at any credits and offers that you need to use or take advantage of before the month is over. There are several credit cards that offer monthly credits that expire if you don’t use use them. Then there are Amex Offers, spending bonuses, bank bonuses and other offers and promotion that might expire every month. So this is a good time to take a look at everything available to you and make sure that you don’t miss anything. Hopefully these end of month reminders will help some you cash in on some last minute savings.
Amex Platinum Card
The Amex Platinum Card currently has some limited time credits this year and ongoing credits as well. Make sure you use the monthly credits before you lose them. Additionally the card also has $100 in Saks Fifth Avenue credits that come as two $50 credits that need to be used by June 30 and December 31, and $200 in airline incidentals credits.
Amex Business Platinum Card
The Amex Business Platinum Card doesn’t have monthly credits that you need to worry about for now. But it offers $200 in Dell credits that come as two $100 credits that need to be used by June 30 and December 31.
Amex Gold Card
The Amex Gold Card has $100 in airline incidentals credit for those who had the card before 1/31/21 and the following monthly credits:
- $10 Uber credit
- $10 dining credit (Grubhub, Seamless, The Cheesecake Factory, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Boxed, and participating Shake Shack locations)
- $100 Dell credit
Dining Credits
- Delta SkyMiles cards:
- Up to $110 in dining statement credits: Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card Members can receive $10 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $165 in dining statement credits: Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card Members can receive $15 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $220 in dining statement credits: Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card Members can receive $20 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Hilton Honors cards:
- Up to $55 in dining statement credits: Hilton Honors American Express Card Members can receive $5 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $110 in dining statement credits: Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card Members can receive $10 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $220 in dining statement credits: Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card Members can receive $20 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Marriott Bonvoy cards:
- Up to $110 in dining statement credits: Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card Members can receive $10 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $220 in dining statement credits: Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card Members can receive $20 back per month (up to 11 times).
Wireless Credits
- Delta SkyMiles cards:
- Up to $110in Statement Credits for U.S. Wireless Telephone Services: Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card Members can earn up to $10 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $165 in Statement Credits for U.S. Wireless Telephone Services: Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card Members can earn up to $15 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Up to $220 in Statement Credits for U.S. Wireless Telephone Services: Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card Members can earn up to $20 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Hilton Honors cards:
- Up to $110 in Statement Credits for U.S. Wireless Telephone Services: Hilton Honors American Express Business Card Members can earn up to $10 back per month (up to 11 times).
- Marriott Bonvoy cards:
- Up to $165 in Statement Credits for U.S. Wireless Telephone Services: Marriott Bonvoy American Express Business Card Members can earn up to $15 back per month (up to 11 times).
Bank Bonuses
There are several Bank Bonuses that expire at the end of the month. Usually some of these bonuses just get extended again, but take a look and see if you are eligible for any of these bonuses and if it makes sense for you to apply.
