Chase Sapphire Preferred, Targeted 70K Bonus with ‘Selected For You’ Offers Online

Chase today released a new better bonus online for the Sapphire Preferred credit card. You can get a 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in three months. But some people could be able to do even better through “Selected For You” offers that you can find in your Chase accounts online. Those targeted, will see a bonus for 70,000 Ultimate Rewards points. The annual fee of $95 is not waived.

These targeted offers can be found on the left hand menu under the Explore Products section or it might show under your current credit cards as “Selected For You” offers. These offers have a green check mark.

Besides being a better offer than the current public offering, these “Selected For You” offers also have another advantage. They bypass the 5/24 rule, so it’s a good opportunity to apply and get the bonus for cards that you wouldn’t be able to get otherwise.

But getting past the 5/24 rule is not the only restriction you have to worry about nowadays. You’re allowed only one new card per family for every 48 months. So if you have received a bonus on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card within the 48 months for example, you cannot get a bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Guru’s Wrap-up
