Bank of America, Extra 2x/2% Through End of Year
Bank of America has sent out emails this afternoons to select cardholders with an offer to earn additional point or cashback through the end of 2022. Those who are targeted can earn an extra 2x points or 2% cashback on all their spending. That’s a sweet deal if you have a card that already earn a good rate.

Now through December 31, 2022 you’ll earn an additional 2 points for every $1 spent on net purchases using your Bank of America credit card. That’s on top of the rewards you’re already earning with no limit to the bonus points you can earn with this offer.
No enrollment is necessary. Simply use your card for purchases to start earning extra rewards.
Some of the eligible cards include:
- Alaska Airlines card
- Travel Rewards
- Customized Cash Rewards
Offer Terms
- This offer will not apply to any customer bonus or account opening bonus, nor will you receive the Preferred Rewards bonus on the additional 2 points per $1.
- Offer only valid for account identified in the email.
- Allow up to 12 weeks after the promotion ends for the promotional points to be added to your account.
- The value of this reward may constitute taxable income to you.

With the Alaska Airlines card for example you can earn 3x miles on every dollar that you spend. The Travel Rewards card earns 1.5x on all purchases and up to 2.62% for Preferred Rewards members. If you have top tier you would get a total of 4.62% for every dollar spent. And to make things even better, you have until the end of the year, and there’s no cap on how much you can earn.
