Bank of America Offers Extra 2X Everywhere for All Cardholders
Bank of America has announced a new promotion that will take place one day only, on November 5th. All cardholders will earn an additional 2% or an extra 2X in credit card rewards for all purchases. So if your Bank of America card earns 1.5%, it will then earn 3.5% on all purchases on that day. Check out the details of the promotion below.

- Cash Back Credit Cards: Earn an additional 2% cash back on purchases made on 11/5/22. That’s on top of the rewards you’re already earning.
- Points Rewards Credit Cards: Earn an additional 2 points for every $1 spent on purchases on 11/5/22. That’s on top of the rewards you’re already earning.
- Miles Rewards Credit Cards: Earn an additional 2 Miles for every $1 spent on purchases on 11/5/22. That’s on top of the rewards you’re already earning.
- Non-Rewards and All Other Rewards Credit Cards: Earn 2% cash back in the form of a statement credit on purchases made on 11/5/22.
Offer Terms
- The promotional offer is in effect 12:00am to 11:59pm Eastern Time (ET) on November 5, 2022.
- Only purchases that appear on your statement with a transaction date of November 5, 2022 will qualify. Transactions with delayed processing of 90 days or more will not be eligible to be included in the promotional offer.
- This promotional offer applies to all purchases. Certain transactions, such as Cash Advances, Balance Transfers and Wire Transfers, are not considered retail purchases and do not apply for purposes of this offer.
- Allow up to 12 weeks after the promotional offer ends for the bonus rewards to be added to your account.

This is a great promotion if you plan all your big purchases on one day, on November 5th. You should also have enough time to apply for any Bank of America credit cards that you have on your to-do list.
You can pay your taxes (with a fee), purchase gift cards especially if there are any promotions going on, prepay any bills or pay for major home imrovements, and more.
This can be an even better promotion for those enrolled in Preferred Rewards, especially those in the top-tier who get an extra 75% bonus on earnings. The Preferred Rewards bonus does not apply to the incremental bonus earn for this promotion.
Bank of America has several cards offer 1.5% cash back on all purchases and with the top-tier Preferred Rewards bonus that goes up to 2.62% on all purchases. Add the 2% promotion and you will earn 4.62% on all purchases on November 5, 2022. If you have the Customized Cash Rewards card you get 3% on one category, and up to 5.25% for Preferred Rewards members. Add the 2% bonus and that makes it 7.25% cash back on up to $2,500 in purchases for one day.
