Choice Hotels International Continues Upscale Momentum with New Openings Across Cambria Hotels and Ascend Collection
Choice Hotels International continues to expand its upscale footprint with the opening of six new properties across its Cambria Hotels and Ascend Collection brands. The latest additions include two Cambria Hotels and four Ascend Collection properties:
- Cambria Hotel Colorado Springs – Air Force Academy, Colorado
- Cambria Hotel Jacksonville, Florida
- Caretta Landing Sarasota, an Ascend Collection Hotel, Florida
- Coral Pointe Sarasota, an Ascend Collection Hotel, Florida
- Sun Lodge, an Ascend Collection Hotel, Peru, Vermont
- Fairway Inn and Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel, Mishicot, Wisconsin
Lyft App Launches in Europe
Starting today, Lyft riders can use their Lyft app in cities across Europe. Early access to the Lyft app rolls out in Barcelona and Hamburg first; throughout October, the Lyft app will become available for riders to use in some of Europe’s largest cities including London, Rome, Paris, Berlin, Athens, and Warsaw. By the end of October riders visiting Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, England, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, France, and Germany will have one go-to app when they cross the Atlantic, building on the foundations from this past summer beta testing the Lyft app in Europe.

American Airlines AAdvantage Debit Cards Now Available In the UK With Currensea
American Airlines and Currensea have now launched cobranded Visa Black and Platinum debit cards for the UK market. Currensea already works with several other loyalty programs, including Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, United Airlines, and Lufthansa Group, and issues similar debit cards for them in the UK.

Chase Just Updated the Design of Old IHG Rewards Select Credit Card
“I got a new Chase IHG Rewards Select Credit Card in the mail with an updated design. Here is what the old design looked like. Based on the date on the back of the card, it looks like this card design dates back to February 2020 (apologies for the smudge marks on the card). This credit card hasn’t been available to new applicants for many years, but I’m glad Chase still thought to update the card design”.
