DoC reports that American Express is again freezing MR accounts for those who applied and were approved for a 100K bonus offer on the Amex Platinum card a week ago. The link was live for a very short period of time, but I’m sure lots of people applied and were approved.

Amex previously did the same thing and even clawed back bonuses a few months back.

You should avoid non-organic spending at all cost with these offers, as it seems that is one of the main reasons for frozen accounts.

People had lots of problems trying to get their points back last time around.
