The new revamped Amex Business Gold Card was launched late last year. It comes with a 50,000 Membership Rewards points bonus after spending $5,000 within three months and an annual fee of $295. However, it looks like it’s possible to have that annual fee waived for the first year, which is huge considering that’s $295 in savings. Doctor of Credit writes that people who have applied through referrals are reporting that the cardmember agreement received after the approval show that the $295 annual fee is waived.
You can signup using my referral link if you want to support the site, or a friend’s link. You can also generate your own referrals which will make the bonus even better.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
50,000 Membership Rewards points are worth at least $700-$800 and the card has more perks which should come in handy. With a waived annual fee for the first year, that bonus becomes much better. Just keep in mind that you are not eligible for the bonus if you had the old Business Gold Rewards card in the past.
You can find more details about the card on my review.
