Barclays recently launched four big bonuses for its co-branded business credit cards. There are 80K offers for American Airlines, JetBlue and, Hawaiian with the annual fee waived, and another 75K offer for Wyndham. Many people have been applying for one of the increased offers, myself included. And many have had their application go pending. So what do you do? Check out your options.

Alaska Airlines launches new Star Wars-themed aircraft

Alaska Airlines joined forces with Disneyland Resort today, May the Fourth, to unveil a new, one-of-its-kind Star Wars-themed aircraft that even Chewbacca would be proud of. The plane, painted space black with the iconic Millennium Falcon emblazoned on the tail chased by TIE fighters, celebrates Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the newest land of adventure inside Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif. The plane is now flying on routes across Alaska’s network for the universe to enjoy.

Three Additional Princess Cruises Ships Return to Service

Three additional Princess Cruises ships are returning to service welcoming guests back onboard – Crown Princess, Island Princess and Royal Princess. This milestone marks a total of 12 ships, 80 percent of the fleet, that will have resumed cruising since July 2021, for the world’s leading international cruise line.

Island Princess departed Ft. Lauderdale on April 27 on a Panama Canal cruise; Royal Princess sailed from Vancouver on May 2 for the popular “Voyage of the Glaciers” Alaska season; and Crown Princess is scheduled to depart Seattle on May 7 for a summer program of Inside Passage Alaska cruises.

Concerto wants to bring co-branded credit cards to more brands

Concerto is a startup that develops credit card programs for brands using “advanced data analytics.” Concerto says that it’s actively signing co-brand credit card partners across “a range of industries,” initially Major League Baseball (MLB) baseball teams. Co-founder Duncan says that the Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Angels, Baltimore Orioles and Cincinnati Reds will roll out Mastercard-issued cards and programs in the near future with access to “exclusive experiences and memorabilia” and “periodic contests and surprises.” Very optimistically, he sees Concerto on a run rate to add 500,000 customers by the end of 2022.

How A Hilton GM Stole Money By Fraudulently Billing Guests

A Hilton Assistant General Manager has been sentenced for fraudulently billing guests, and refunding fake charges to his own debit cards, at two hotels. Canady worked as a front office and assistant general manager at two different hotels in 2020 and 2021. He admitted to using his access to the computer system at the Hilton Garden Inn downtown to create and use house accounts, bill an unsuspecting guest and then refund the same accounts to debit cards associated with his account.
