Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a great opportunity to invite friends or family members, especially if they want to apply for either the Amex Gold or Amex Platinum card. They get the signup bonus and extra earning on dining purchases, and you can get the referral bonus which can be as high as 20,000 or 30,000 Membership Rewards points, plus an extra 5X on dining.
Make sure that you check the offers when applying. Referral links seem to be updating now and some might not show the improved offer with the dining bonus.
I can’t generate new referrals. Does that mean I’m banned? I click ‘refer friends’ link on the right side menu and I get a blank page.
Probably it’s Amex updating referral links. Unless you have referred yourself in the past?
