Improved Offers for Amex Delta Cards
American Express Delta consumer credit cards currently have some improved welcome offers. You can earn up to 125,000 SkyMiles and 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles. That best offer is obviously for the Amex Delta SkyMiles Reserve card which also comes with a $550 annual fee. But the Platinum and Gold cards also have decent bonuses. Take a look below and see how you can find them.
- Delta SkyMiles Reserve
- Spend $5,000 in your first 3 months & earn 125,000 bonus miles & 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs)
- Annual Fee: $550
- Delta SkyMiles Platinum
- Spend $3,000 in your first 3 months & earn 90,000 bonus miles & 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs)
- Annual Fee: $250
- Delta SkyMiles Gold
- Spend $2,000 in your first 3 months & earn 75,000 bonus miles
- Annual Fee: $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $99
Open this link in a clean browser window and hopefully you will see some of the better offers. Offers may not be available if you leave that web page and return later, so if you see an offer that you like, make sure you apply right away.
These are good offers if you are chasing Delta Air Lines elite status. If you only care about the miles and want to minimize out of pocket costs, then the Delta card is probably the best option for you since the annual fee is waived the first year.
Let me know if you get these offers to show up.

If I already have the Delta Gold card, must I cancel the Gold card first, before applying for the 125000 Skymiles bonus on the Reserve card?
They’re different products, so you can get the bonus and have both cards at the same time. No need to cancel your Delta Gold card.
