Applying for the Cards

All the offers have the lifetime restriction that usually comes with these bonuses. Welcome offer not available to applicants who have or have had a specific card or versions of the Card before. They may also consider the number of American Express Cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer eligibility. Lifetime is usually considered to be 7 years by American Express. There’s an easy way to figure out what cards you have held in the past, based on Amex’ records.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Some of these offers match the highest welcome bonuses we have seen. So take a look at each card and consider which offer and what benefits work best for you. For the Delta Gold consumer and business cards the annual fee is waived the first year, while for the other cards you have to pay the annual fee right away.
