IHG Premier Card Bonus: Up to 170K Points and $100 Credit
Chase has launched an elevated welcome offer for the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, with up to 170,000 total bonus points and up to $100 in IHG Food & Beverage Rewards.
New cardholders can earn 160,000 IHG One Rewards points after completing the initial spending requirement. The offer also includes up to $100 in food and beverage credits after account opening and another 10,000 bonus points for adding an authorized user who makes a purchase. Let’s go over the details.

New IHG Premier cardholders can earn:
- 160,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening.
- Up to $100 in IHG Food & Beverage Rewards after account opening.
- An additional 10,000 bonus points after adding an authorized user who makes a purchase within the first three months.

This credit card is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any personal IHG One Rewards Credit Card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any personal IHG One Rewards Credit Card who received a new cardmember bonus for any personal IHG One Rewards Credit Card within the last 24 months. This card also subject to the Chase 5/24 rule.
How the $100 IHG Food and Beverage Credit Works
The $100 benefit is issued as five separate $20 IHG Food & Beverage Rewards, to be redeemed for credit against eligible food and beverage charges on your room bill at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Each voucher can only be used once, even if your applicable charges total less than $20. If the full $20 value is not used, the remaining value will be forfeited. Eligible charges vary by property but generally include food, beverage (including alcoholic beverages), and gratuities and must be captured on the primary cardmember’s room bill.
The room reservation must be made under the primary cardmember’s name for charges to be billed to them. . There is no limit to the number of Food & Beverage Rewards you can use per stay on one room.
IHG Food & Beverage Rewards are not applicable to vending machines, third-party food and beverage deliveries, restaurants that do not allow charges to a guest room bill, gift shop purchases, taxes associated to minibar charges, and taxes.
Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be applied to charges on a single room during a stay Food & Beverage Rewards have no cash value and must be available in your IHG One Rewards account for redemption. Each voucher is valid for 12 months from the date it posts to your IHG One Rewards account. Please allow up to 8 weeks for Food & Beverage Rewards to post to your account.
Participating IHG Hotels & Resorts include all IHG brands except IHG Army Hotels and select Six Senses locations. The IHG Food & Beverage Rewards are also not available at Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, Royal Resorts by Holiday Inn Club Vacations, or at InterContinental Alliance Resorts (Macau).

This is a strong IHG Premier welcome offer, especially for anyone who can use the five $20 food and beverage rewards during upcoming IHG stays.
The main value is 160,000 points after $3,000 in spending, while the authorized-user purchase increases the total to 170,000 points. The food and beverage benefit adds another $100 in potential value, but its structure makes it less flexible than a normal statement credit.
We have seen higher offers for this card in the past, but the credit and the lower spending requirement make this a good opportunity if you plan on staying at IHG properties.
