Citi issues a Sears Mastercard credit card that’s not talked about much. The card often has great spending offers, but to go and get it just to hope that you receive some offers, doesn’t make sense for most people. Now there’s a $150 sign-up bonus that might make it worthwhile if you had your eyes on it. This is the highest bonus we have seen on the card and the spending requirement is slightly lower than last time.
Bonus Requirements
You have the opportunity to receive a $150 statement credit when eligible purchases totaling $1,500 or more are made and post to your account within 90 days from account opening. This offer is for all new accounts opened between 2/1/18 – 5/2/18 only. . Excludes deferred interest purchases.
Card Benefits
When you’re approved for a new Sears Mastercard you earn points in more places, including gas stations, restaurants, Sears and Kmart and all other eligible purchases, for 12 months from the date of account opening. You will earn the following rates for up to $10,000 in purchases:
- 5% back in points on eligible gas station purchases
- 3% back in points on eligible restaurant (including cafes, bars, lounges and fast food restaurants)
Plus you will receive
- 2% back in points on purchases at Sears and Kmart
- 1% everywhere else

If you’ve been thinking about this card, then this is the time to apply. You’re not able to product change to this card, so applying for it is the only option. The $150 bonus is not really one of the best credit card bonuses, but many people want this card for the targeted spending offers that can earn you even more than the bonus.
