Guru’s Wrap-up

The Citi Priority Banking Package requires a checking account that comes with a $30 fee that’s not easy to be waived. The savings account doesn’t have any fees and it earns 2.36% APY. That’s not a bad rate, but there’s better options out there. Then you get the extra earning on your cards for about 6 months. Earning 2.5x on all spend is a good deal for big spenders, but probably not enough to justify the Priority Banking Package.
