Chase has launched a new signup bonus for the Freedom Unlimited card. You can now earn $300 when you apply for the card and spend $500 in three months. This is a decent offer for a no-fee card, but it’s still better to go for other Chase bonuses. Let’s see the details.

• Earn a $300 bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
• Earn 5% cash back on combined gas station and grocery store purchases (not including Target and Walmart) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year (that’s $600 cash back!).
• 0% intro APR for 15 months from account opening on purchases and balance transfers. After the intro period, a variable APR applies.
• No Annual Fee

The $300 bonus is available online, but if you also want to take advantage of 5% back on gas and groceries, then you have to apply at a Chase branch.

Cash Back rewards do not expire as long as your account is open. And there is no minimum to redeem for cash back. You can choose to receive a statement credit or direct deposit into most U.S. checking and savings accounts. It gets even better if you have a premium Chase card, like Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Ink Business Preferred or Ink Business Plus. You can convert the cash back to Ultimate Rewards points and transfer to travel partners.

This is a good offer if you are looking for a no-fee credit card. You get $300 for spending $500 within the first three months and then up to $600 cash back on gas and groceries for the first year. 

The $300 bonus is also available through referral links but not the 5% cash back part. The person referrer can get a $50 referral bonus.
