Starting today Capital One is temporarily expanding redemption options for Venture customers through April 30, 2021. This is an effort to make Capital One miles useful during the coronavirus pandemic when most people are stuck indoors.
Some customers have complained in recent days their limits have been slashed by as much as 75%. To makes matters worse, the lower credit limits make it more difficult to borrow in an emergency during a pandemic. Such drastic drops in limits also affect cardholders’ credit scores.
As of April 29 we are able to once again offer the benefit of redeeming rewards for gift cards. Customers can use their rewards to redeem for gift cards from a variety of merchants through this option including Amazon, Walmart, Lowes and more.
