Card Rewards
The Bank of America Business Advantage Cash Rewards Mastercard earn the following rates:
- 3% at gas stations and office supply stores (up to $250,000 each calendar year)
- 2% at restaurants and unlimited
- 1% cash back on all other purchases
If you’re a Business Advantage Relationship Rewards client, you can get an additional 25% – 75% rewards bonus on the base earn of every purchase you make. The rewards bonus doesn’t apply to the signup bonus.
You can redeem your cash rewards as a statement credit, check, or have cash deposited into a Bank of America checking or savings account
Annual Fee
Bank of America Business Advantage Cash Rewards Mastercard doesn’t have an annual fee.
Applying for the Card
Bank of America business cards are not reported to the personal credit bureaus.
There’s been some reports recently that Bank of America might require you to open a CD before being approved for a business credit card. They might also ask for proof of business.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
A decent card for gas station and supply store purchases, but at 3% there’s better cards out there for each category. If you qualify for a relationship bonus, then it could go as high as 5.75%. The regular bonus on this card is just $200 after $500 in spending, but this increased offer will get you $350 with $3,000 in spending. Not a tremendous offer, but could be worthwhile for some people.
