The new Amex Platinum Saks Fifth Avenue benefit has been live since July 1st. But there’s been a pleasant twist. It’s applying to every purchase, not just Saks Fifth Avenue purchases. You can read more about the beenfit on my original post below, but basically you get a $50 in statement credits from January through June and up to $50 in statement credits from July through December when you shop at the store. No minimum purchase required.

For now you get $50 on anything you buy. I doubt it will last long, and I also doubt that those who have gotten the credit for non Saks Fifth Avenue purchases with get to keep it. Still worth a try though for an easy $50.
