Amex Centurion Lounge Opens at Amsterdam Schiphol
American Express is opening a new Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) on September 17, 2026. The new location is the 33rd Centurion Lounge worldwide and the first in continental Europe to carry the Centurion Lounge name.
The lounge is located between Concourses E and F and will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It spans nearly 6,000 square feet and is designed around Dutch art, landscapes and architecture.
The new Amsterdam Centurion Lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows, a Blue Roast Coffee Bar, a full bar with beer and cocktails, and a seasonal buffet inspired by Dutch and regional European flavors. The lounge also includes a variety of seating options, quiet workspaces, a phone room, private restrooms, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of power and USB outlets.
The Blue Roast Coffee Bar will feature locally sourced coffee and a dedicated barista program, while the food offering will focus on seasonal dishes and local ingredients.
The design incorporates work from Dutch artists including Mieke Jonker, Reinder Schmidt, Geesien Postema and Thirza Schaap, along with materials and colors meant to reflect Amsterdam’s canals, architecture and landscapes.
With the Amsterdam opening, the Centurion Lounge Network reaches 33 locations. American Express says its broader Global Lounge Collection now includes access to more than 1,550 lounges worldwide for eligible cardmembers.
More locations are already planned, including new Centurion Lounges at Newark (EWR) and Boston (BOS), along with Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge at Charlotte (CLT).
