Chase Sapphire Lounge Coming to Seattle Airport

Chase is planning a new Sapphire Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), adding another location to its growing airport lounge network.

The Port of Seattleโ€™s September 22 agenda includes authorization for a lease and concession agreement with AD Partnership, LLC, the operator behind Chase Sapphire Lounges, for a new credit-card lounge on Concourse A.

According to View from the Wing, the proposed lounge would span roughly 16,000 square feet and represents a deal worth about $70 million over the lease term.

The location would put Chase close to Deltaโ€™s lounge presence at Seattle.

The agenda itself confirms the proposed Chase Sapphire Lounge but does not yet provide an opening date.

Chase has been expanding its Sapphire Lounge footprint quickly, with additional projects already planned in markets such as Miami and other major U.S. airports. Its upcoming Miami lounge, for example, is planned at nearly 14,000 square feet.

Guruโ€™s Wrap-Up

Seattle looks set to become another important stop in the Chase Sapphire Lounge network.

A roughly 16,000-square-foot lounge would make this a sizable location, and placing it on Concourse A should give Chase a strong presence at the airport.

The project still needs to move through the Port approval process, and there is no confirmed opening date yet. But the lease appearing on the September 22 agenda is a concrete step toward a Sapphire Lounge at SEA.
