Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club Opens at LaGuardia Airport

Chase announced today the opening of its the newest Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The entrance to the two-floor lounge is located post- security on the fourth floor of the newly redeveloped Terminal B and is the brand’s largest to-date at more than 21,800 square feet.

Additionally, Chase will further expand its lounge network with a new lounge location at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The space is a joint offering with Etihad Airways, who previously operated the lounge. This location will offer the signature Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club experience. Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways will open on January 23, at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Terminal 4 post-security in the Mezzanine on Level 4 located above Gate A2.

“Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers are travelers by nature and New York City is continuously topping the list of their travel destinations. As such, we’re thrilled to expand our offering to serve New Yorkers and visitors, alike,” said Dana Pouwels, Head of Airport Lounge Benefits and Strategic Partnerships for Chase.

I had the chance to take a look at the lounge a few days ago, so check out more information and tons of pictures below.

LGA Chase Sapphire Lounge

The new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at New York’s LaGuardia Airport is impressive, and a great addition to New York area airports. The entrance to the two-floor lounge is located post- security on the fourth floor of the newly redeveloped Terminal B. The hallway that leads to the elevator, is right next to the Centurion Lounge.

The lounge measures 21,800 square feet, which is not just the largest Chase Sapphire Lounge yet, but nearly double the size of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan Airport.

Once you get past the welcome desk, you see a large space with the cocktail bar as its impressive centerpiece. Around it there are tons of seating spaces where traveler can enjoy food and beverages, and there’s more upstairs.

This expansive space features design details that draw inspiration from some of the world’s best designers including Corgan Architecture, and featured furniture from Cappellini, Poliform, Moroso, DePadova and more.

Chase Sapphire commissioned local artist, Eugenia Mello, to create custom, locally inspired designed Solgaard luggage tag for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers as a keepsake, as supplies last.

The space is accented by hand-selected artwork from the JPMorgan Chase & Co. private art collection, including commissioned pieces from local artists, Aundre Larrow and Michelle Rick, who created a custom wallcovering depicting photography of local landmarks and people.

  1. I hope Amex learns how to do lounges right. Amex had the right idea and did a great job but Chase has just elevated and enhances the lounge concept miles ahead. Hope Amex is watching vs pissing off their customers with their whole Delta debacle.

  2. Has Chase given you any news on future opening dates for other Sapphire lounges? I am specifically interested in the opening date for SAN.

    1. This is all they have shared so far. I haven’t heard anything new about SAN lounge since it was first announced https://dannydealguru.com/chase-sapphire-lounge-by-the-club-2/

  3. Chase is doing a great jo with these lounges. Can’t wait to check it out next month.
