Applying for the Card

Chase business cards do not report to your personal credit report, so will not affect your Chase 5/25 status. But, this card falls under the 5/24 rule itself, so it will be out of reach for many people. Even if you received the offer, you still can not get around this rule.

The regular offer for the Chase Ink Preferred Business Card is 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points. This targeted offer includes that bonus, but it also gives you the opportunity to earn another 80K if you can manage to spend $50K within six months. That’s a pretty good deal, especially if some of it is in categories that earn 3X. That’s a similar structure to the new Capital One Spark bonuses that give you $2,000 or 200K Capital One points instead.
