World of Hyatt Credit Card, New 60K Points Bonus
Chase and Hyatt have a new offer for World of Hyatt Credit Card members who apply and are approved for the card. You can earn up to 60,000 World of Hyatt points, but there’s a high spending requirement to receive the full bonus. Let’s see how exactly this World of Hyatt Credit Card 60K points bonus works, and who is eligible.

- 30,000 Bonus Points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening;
- Plus, up to 30,000 more Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spend on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 in the first six months of account opening

As a reminder, in addition to this special signup bonus, new Cardmembers receive World of Hyatt Discoverist status upon signing up for the card, which includes valuable benefits like late checkout, preferred room upgrades, and 10% Bonus Point earning. Plus, new cardmembers receive additional benefits including a Category 1-4 free night award each year, five Tier-Qualifying Night credits each year and more.
Applying for the Card
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of the Marriott Rewards Premier or Marriott Rewards Premier Plus credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of the Marriott Rewards Premier or Marriott Rewards Premier Plus credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months.
This card falls under the Chase 5/24 rule. That means that in order to be approved, you cannot have opened five or more personal credit cards. That includes cards across all banks in the last 24 months. Chase Business credit cards do not add to your 5/24 count.
Guru’s Wrap-up
This replaces the current previous of 50,000 Bonus Points. Late last year there was also another targeted offer for up to 70,000 points. So we have definitely seen better offers for the World of Hyatt Credit Card. But if you can manage the large spend, then it could be worth it. Also check out this promotion that will earn you up to 5,000 extra points for making 50 or more purchases.
That’s an insane amount of spend. $18,000 spend in six months? Or perhaps I misunderstood and it’s $15,000 total (including the initial $3,000)? Still, whether it’s $15,000 or $18,000 spend, it’s really really high. I hope they offer something better. I’ve been waiting to get this card for a few years.
