• Open a new eligible personal Truist checking account (Truist Bright, Truist Fundamental, or Truist Dimension).

• Set up and completing at least two qualifying Direct Deposits totaling $500 or more within 90 days of account opening.

Eligibility

• Clients with an existing personal checking account or who have closed a personal checking account on or after 4/1/21 with BB&T or SunTrust now Truist and/or Truist are not eligible.
• Account holder must be 18 or older at the time of account opening.
• Offer available only to US residents with a valid US taxpayer identification number.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a good bonus if you can easily switch your direct deposit at your job. It’s also possible that ACHs from other banks could fulfill the requirements. As for eligible accounts, Bright Checking has a $12 fee that you can waive with a $1,500 balance. Fundamental Checking is the other option with a $5 ($3 in NJ) that is not waived.

However, keep in mind that we saw a $500 bonus recently with similar requirements.
