Radisson Rewards Americas to Become Separate Program
Radisson Rewards is breaking up its program in two separate parts, one for the Americas, and the other for the rest of the world. There is now a Radisson Hotels Americas alongside Radisson Hotels and RadissonHotels.com, which will continue to cover Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
Radisson Rewards Americas
The Radisson Hotels Americas is already live. But, in June, Radisson Hotels Americas will launch a dedicated loyalty program. It will be called Radisson Rewards Americas and will reward our members who stay at hotels in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. There will also be a Radisson Rewards for Business Americas program to continue supporting members who plan events or book on behalf of others at hotels in the Americas.
There will be no changes to your benefits or point balance, and you’ll continue to earn and redeem for rewards at hotels throughout the Americas. If you would like to earn points or redeem for hotels outside the Americas you will need to join the Radisson Rewards program on RadissonHotels.com. Radisson Hotels and Radisson Hotels Americas will be operating as separate companies therefore requiring two loyalty programs.
The Radisson Rewards and Radisson Rewards for Business program will continue to support members who stay and do business with at hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
More Changes
Radisson says that the Radisson Rewards Americas will continue making exciting changes in order to bring you more simplified, rewarding experiences. Look for further program enhancements to be announced in April 2021.
Guru’s Wrap-up
The Radisson Rewards program already struggles to provide much value domestically. The best redemptions are usually abroad and specifically in Scandinavia and maybe some other regions. But those properties will now be part of the Radisson Rewards program which will be separate from Radisson Hotels Americas. You probably should start booking now if you have Radisson Rewards points left in your account.
