PenFed is no longer accepting new applications for the PenFed Pathfinder Rewards card. The website says that “exciting changes are coming in early 2020” for this card. What’s also interesting, is the fact that the American Express logo is not showing on the card. This might be a switch to a different issuer, besdies changes to the card perks and benefits.
This card provides great perks for no annual fee. You get TSA PreCheck or Global Entry for free and $100 airline fee credit. Plus it has some good earning categories. Although they say the changes are exciting, I doubt it can get much better if it remains a no fee credit card.
