Northwest Federal Credit Union has a $300 bonus available for new checking account. You can open the account online, in branch or by phone. Previously this bonus was available in VA only, but could now be available to more people.

Offer

Open your first-ever checking account with Northwest Federal in one of our branch locations between October 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018 to earn $300. You need to complete the following requirements within 90 days:

Open first-ever consumer checking account with Northwest Federal in a branch with use promo code OL2020 (might only need code when opening by phone)
Make a minimum of three direct deposits into the checking account with a minimum of $500 each deposit
Sign up for e-Statements AND
Login to Online Banking at least once each month

Once all requirements are met and your checking account has been open for 90 days, you will receive your deposit within 45 days. Cannot be combined with other offers. Account must be opened online, by phone, or at the One Loudoun branch to qualify.

Eligibility

Must open in branch and all branches are in VA.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Need to sign up with one of their partners to be eligible for a membership. Florida Literacy Coalition charges a $10 membership fee.

A very good bonus of $300 but only available to those in VA. At least now it can also be opened online. Not sure if that means that you can apply from out of state. The account doesn’t have any monthly fees to worry about, so you just need to complete the requirements.
