September Bilt Rent Day
The Bilt Rent Day offers for September 1, 2026 have officially been announced, and the featured offer is a transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red. Bilt is offering a status match but no transfer bonus. You also get the usual Bilt Rent Day game, double points, and exclusive dining experiences.

Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red Transfer Bonus
On September 1, Bilt members can transfer points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red with a status-based bonus:
- Blue: 25% bonus
- Silver: 35% bonus
- Gold: 45% bonus
- Platinum: 75% bonus
Members can use $200 in Bilt Cash to buy up to the next transfer-bonus tier. Platinum members can use $200 Bilt Cash to increase their bonus from 75% to 100%.
The bonus applies to the first 150,000 Bilt points transferred across Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red.
Earn Double Points
Bilt members earn double points with your Bilt card from September 1 at midnight EDT until September 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT. This promotion only applies to non-housing purchases and limited to 1,000 bonus points.
That means that on Bilt Rent Day, you will earn:
- Bilt Blue Card: 2x points on everyday purchases, up to 1,000 bonus points
- Bilt Obsidian Card: 6x points on your selected category of dining or groceries, 4x points on trave, and 2x points on other everyday purchases, up to 1,000 bonus points
- Bilt Palladium Card: 4x points on everyday purchases, up to 1,000 bonus points
Targeted Statement Credit Bonus
Some Bilt cardholders are also targeted for an increased value when redeeming at least 1,000 Bilt points for a statement credit from September 1 at midnight EDT until September 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT:
- Bilt Blue Card: 25% more value
- Bilt Obsidian Card: 50% more value
- Bilt Palladium Card: 100% more value
Bilt points normally redeem for statement credits at 0.55 cents each, so even the 100% bonus only increases that to 1.1 cents per point.
“Rent Free” Game
Members can play the game in the Bilt app to compete for a chance to have their rent paid (up to $2,500). In addition to the top 10 winners receiving free rent, hundreds of others can win bonus Bilt points. You can play the game between August 27 and September 1, 2026.
Bilt Neighborhood Experiences
- Global Citizen Festival: Up to 100 Bilt members can redeem 5,000 points per ticket for the September 26 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park. Three members will also win an all-expenses-paid VIP weekend for themselves and a guest.
- Exclusive Dining: Bilt is offering Neighborhood Dining experiences at 39 restaurants in seven cities, with tasting menus and omakase priced from $40-$75 or 2,500-5,000 points.
- Complimentary Fitness: Members can book free September 1 classes at SoulCycle and Barry’s, with 875 SoulCycle bikes and 580 Barry’s spots available.
- Neighborhood Comedy: Comedy experiences are available at 17 venues across 12 cities, starting at $30 or 2,000 points.
- Bilt Neighborhood Food Truck: Bilt members can stop by 837 Washington St. in New York City from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on September 1 for complimentary crab or veggie fried rice with Thai iced tea from Fish Cakes, while supplies last.
