Long Island Town Lands on World’s Best Travel List

It’s often known as the town you pass on the way to the Hamptons or the North Fork, but now one Long Island community is having its own moment after it was named to a list that also includes the likes of the Azores, Curacao and French Polynesia. Even to the residents of Riverhead, being named to Forbes’ “Best Places to Travel” came as a bit of a surprise, to say the least.

Delta Launching New York To Buenos Aires Route

Delta will launch a daily nonstop flight between New York (JFK) and Buenos Aires (EZE). The route is expected to launch on October 28, 2023, and should be on sale shortly.

Amazon is closing certain Amazon Fresh and Amazon Go stores

Amazon said Thursday that it plans to close a number of Amazon Fresh grocery and Amazon Go convenience stores and pause new openings. The announcement, which was made during its fourth-quarter earnings call, came just weeks after the e-commerce giant said it will cut 18,000 jobs in certain areas of the business.

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin

Hyatt Hotels announced the grand opening of Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin, the highly anticipated 31-story hotel in the heart of downtown Austin, marking the second Hyatt Centric property in Texas. The property is located along Congress Avenue, walking distance from the Texas Capital, Lady Bird Lake, University of Texas campus and in the middle of the action within the vibrant arts and culture district at 721 Congress Avenue. Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is home to restaurant Luminaire and bar Las Bis helmed by Chef Steve McHugh.

CitiBusiness ThankYou Card Losing 3x Rotating Categories

The CitiBusiness ThankYou Card has offered 3x ThankYou points per $1 spent on rotating categories, but starting April 22, 2023 that is going away and being replaced with 3x on eligible travel, office supply store purchases and professional services.
