Presentation has started a little late. Not a very excited crowd so far and lots of videos being shown. Starting August all three programs, Marriott, SPF and Ritz will be unified into one. Individual program names will stay the same until 2019, but everything else will be consolidated into one set of benefits to give you easier access and more opportunities.

Today at 4:30 EDT there will be a major announcement regarding the loyalty programs of Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest. Marriott acquired SPG almost two years ago and they’ve been steadily working towards unifying the two programs. There’s already been some rumors and leaks on what we might expect from today’s announcement.
