Amex Offers
Amex Offers are an extra perk on all American Express credit cards, charge cards, and even prepaid cards. You can see these offers in your accounts either as a statement credit or extra Membership Rewards points for spending a certain amount at an eligible merchant. You will need to add the offer to a specific card, and then use that card to get the credit. Here are a few things you should know:- You should add the offer to your preferred card. Amex Offers are now limited to just one per person. So once you add it to one card, it disappears from other cards.
- You can use the Membership Rewards version and the statement credit version of the same offer.

“Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.” Probably a dumb question but are room “fees” (not taxes) at time of booking included with the room rate?
I’m also assuming the $300 does not have to be a single charge because the room is usually charged upon check-in and any room charges are separate at check-out.
I have a Indigo booked in NYC in Nov I used a Cert but with this offer im think to rebook with cash. The room $250, fees $30, tax $40. Minus tax if I charge 2 x coffee on room charge I would be over $300 to trigger the offer.
Room fees should also be included. They include that language in the terms to exclude non-stay charges.
$300 can be completed in one or more purchases. It doesn’t have to be a single charge.
