Hilton Honors members can get a vacation in Hawaii or New York and 100,000 bonus points starting at 749. The offer was sent by email to some Hilton members, but everyone can buy a package. There’s a small catch however, a timeshare presentation.
Offers
Guests must purchase one of the following packages by by August 31, 2019:
- 4-day/3-night stay in NYC plus 100K Hilton Points for $749
- 6-day/5-night stay in Honolulu plus 100K Hilton Points for $999
- 6-day/5-night stay in Waikoloa plus 100K Hilton Points for $999
at a participating hotel within the Hilton portfolio of brands (valued at $175-$500/night).
Guests will receive 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points if package is purchased by August 31, 2019. You have up to 12 months from purchase date to travel. Travel can begin 30 days after purchase of vacation package. As part of your vacation package, you’ll attend a two-hour personal preview and sales presentation of Hilton Grand Vacations, where you’ll learn how you and your family can enjoy the many benefits and privileges of vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations.
Guru’s Wrap-up
Good offers, as teh value of the points alone is about $400. But that vacation comes with a mandatory sales pitch for Hilton Grand Vacations. You have to sit through that for two hours. They can’t force you to buy anything, but again not everyone can say “no” over and over. And they make those deals sound pretty good. So if that’s something you’re not comfortable with, might be best to skip it. But if you’ve done this before, or are confident that you will resist the temptation, then could be a good opportunity. Also check out these cheaper options that I posted a couple of days ago. You can also call in and ask for better deals.
Have you participated in similar timeshare presentations in the past. How did they go and what tips do you have for other DDG readers?

Funny thing is on the website under the book it button it says “This offer ends 31 July 2019” which has passed could be a type-o of could be a gotcha.
