Hilton Timeshare Offer with 150K Points Bonus

Hilton Honors members can get a 4-night stay at several destinations and 150,000 bonus points, starting at just $299. We see these Hilton Grand Vacations offers from time to time, and you can often negotiate something better. But this is the highest bonus we have ever seen. And there are 15 destinations in total to choose from, with 11 of them priced at $299 for four nights.

There’s a small catch however, a timeshare presentation that you must attend. Let’s see how these offers work and also check out my experience in Las Vegas with a similar offer from Marriott Vacation Club.

Cabo San Lucas

You have up to 12 months from purchase date to travel. Travel can begin 30 days after purchase of vacation package. As part of your vacation package, you’ll attend a two-hour personal preview and sales presentation of Hilton Grand Vacations, where you’ll learn how you and your family can enjoy the many benefits and privileges of vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations. You can see the offers here. Offer expires January 10, 2023.

Hilton Timeshare Offer: Guru’s Wrap-up

This is the best ever bonus offered for a Hilton timeshare presentation. There are 15 destinations to choose from, with 11 of them priced at $299 for a 4-night stay. And you also get 150,000 Hilton Honors points which are valued at about $650. So it’s basically a free vacation and a nice profit. It makes sense even for a staycation if you’re in one of the eligible cities.

Normally you can also call and ask for a better offer, but I doubt you’ll get anything more in this case. It could be worth asking for more destinations though.

However, all these types of offers come with a mandatory sales pitch for Hilton Grand Vacations. You have to sit through that for two hours. They can’t force you to buy anything, but again not everyone can say “no” over and over. And they make those deals sound pretty good. If that’s something you’re not comfortable with, it might be best to skip this Hilton Grand Vacations offer. But if you’ve done this before, or are confident that you will resist the temptation, then could be a good opportunity.

If you are really looking to buy a timeshare, then it is better to look at time share resellers where you will get a much better price. I still do not think it is a good idea, but always see for yourself, add up the costs, and then make a decision.

Have you participated in similar timeshare presentations in the past? How did it go and what tips do you have for other readers?

  1. Also I noticed it says “Hilton Honors Diamond Members can enjoy 150,000 Hilton Honors Points”, so assuming I’m just a gold member, I will not receive that amount?

    1. The offer was sent out my email, to Diamond members and also non-Diamonds. You can book this offer by phone too at 888-963-2612, and ask them if they can give you the 150K bonus, or anything close to it.

          1. I picked NYC but he mentioned at anytime prior to booking, I can make a change to any of the other destinations at the $299 price promo and may have to pay extra in taxes since its one extra night. I have been to the one in Myrtle a couple times since only 90 minutes away and picked a city where none of the sales rep unless they transferred their from Myrtle would know me LOL.

  2. We’ve run the numbers and a timeshare makes no sense for us and we had no intention of buying a timeshare. That being said, here’s a few tips as we did this in Orlando last year for a lower price and lower points ($149 and only 15k Hilton points). Watch out for the extra fees when booking. Booking this for stays during certain holiday periods may result in surcharges, also when booking the stay for more than 2 people because room types will likely require upgrading from the basic offer. You may wind up driving to another property for the presentation which is different from where you’re staying (we did). Presentation itself was a hard sell, despite us saying “no we aren’t interested” repeatedly, the sales people do *everything* they can to get you to stay and buy, and for us the sales staff became rude at the end. Strategies they used were similar to going to a car dealership to buy a car. Definitely discuss with your significant other/spouse beforehand about your intentions, and come into the sales presentation with a unified strategy that you aren’t going to purchase a timeshare no matter what they say. Plan on it taking at least the full two hours, maybe more. If you inform them that you have an appointment elsewhere after the 2 hours, it may help to give you an “out”. As stated above, if you’ve run the numbers and owning a timeshare makes sense for you, resellers will likely give you much better deals.

    1. Good point on surcharges for peak times and for more than 2 people. And yes, the mood often changes from a super friendly conversation early on, to all business and a bit hostile later on. But I didn’t think it was too bad during the presentation I did in Vegas (it was Marriot not Hilton).

I think mentioning that you’re familiar with miles and points helps. No matter what price they throw at you, it can’t beat a free stay with points.

I’m considering doing this one for the 150K bonus.
