citizenM Joins Marriott Bonvoy
One of Marriott’s newly acquired brands, citizenM is now part of Marriott Bonvoy. The company completed the acquisition in July and now members can book all citizenM properties through Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy app.
Currently the brand includes over 35 hotels in over 20 major cities around the world:
- United States: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Chicago, Menlo Park, and Austin
- United Kingdom: London and Glasgow
- France: Paris
- Netherlands: Amsterdam and Rotterdam
- Ireland: Dublin
- Switzerland: Zurich and Geneva
- Italy: Rome
- Denmark: Copenhagen
- Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur
citizenM is known for its tech-driven hotel experience with minimalist and compact rooms and vibrant living-room-like lobbies. Marriott Bonvoy members can now begin to earn and redeem points and enjoy elite benefits at all citizenM hotels. Award pricing seems to vary between 40,000 and as high as 65,000 points per night.
