Visa Gift Cards Disappear from Staples.com
Staples has apparently removed Visa gift cards from its website, at least for now. That’s disappointing news for anyone who regularly buys them online to earn extra credit card rewards, especially during promotions that waive purchase fees.
As first spotted by Miles Per Day, Visa gift cards disappeared from Staples.com earlier this week.
Staples is a popular place to buy Visa and Mastercard gift cards because certain credit cards, including the Chase Ink Cash, earn 5X points at office supply stores on eligible purchases.
Visa gift cards have disappeared from Staples.com before, so hopefully we’ll see them back in stock soon.
The good news is that in-store Visa gift card promotions are still available. Staples is currently offering fee-free $200 Visa gift cards in stores through October 24, 2026.
