Chase Marriott Cards Get 10X on Gas & Restaurants/Deliveries
Chase is adding new limited time perks for Marriott credit cards. Starting on July 15, Chase Marriott Bonvoy cardmembers will be able to earn 10x points on purchases at restaurants and gas stations. This is one of the richest non-travel rewards ever offered for Marriott Bonvoy cardmembers and a perks that can be used while most people are not able to travel.

From now through Sept. 15, eligible Chase Marriott Bonvoy cardmembers can “opt in” to start earning 10x on these two categories of spend: restaurants and gas stations. Cardholders will also get 10x when they order from eligible food delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash. Regarding other delivery apps, “it depends how that specific company has categorized themselves as a merchant,” Chase said. So I would expect Uber Eats to count as well. It’s always best to test it out first though.
10x points is valid on up on to $3500 of total spend on all these categories together, from July 15 to September 15, 2020. So you can earn up to 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
