There’s a new offer for the Chase Hyatt credit card that will get you two free nights and a $50 statement credit. You can read my full review of the card here.
Offer
Earn up to 2 free nights at Hyatt hotels (Category 1-7) worldwide:
- Earn 1 free night after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.
- Receive 1 additional free night after you spend $6,000 total on purchases within the first 6 months of account opening.
Plus, get a $50 Statement Credit after your first purchase with the World of Hyatt Credit Card.
Annual fee of $95 is not waived.
Applying for the Card
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of the Marriott Rewards Premier or Marriott Rewards Premier Plus credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of the Marriott Rewards Premier or Marriott Rewards Premier Plus credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months.
This card now falls under the Chase 5/24 rule. It didn’t initially.

Guru’s Wrap-up
I prefer points over this new offer, but if you have a Category 7 redemption in mind then this could be better. You would need to redeem these two free nights from the new bonus on Category 7 hotels to come out ahead, compared to the best 60K offer that we’ve seen before. With Category 6 and 7 hotels you can also do better than the other current offer of 50K points, since you also get a $50 credit.
However, you lose flexibility when with free night certificates. The certificates expire in one year, so that adds more restrictions.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
