Chase has a nice offer for business owners. You can get $500 when you open a Chase Performance Business Checking account and deposit $500 within 10 business days of account opening, and maintain that balance for 60 days. You should probably deposit more than that, to account for possible monthly fees.
You also need to keep the account open for 6 months or the bonus will be forfeited. There’s no direct deposit requirement.
The offer was previously targeted but DoC reports that now you can get it when you go to this link and log in with your personal or business Chase account credentials. You’ll get a unique code each time you log in, which you can use to open the account in branch.
Monthly Fees
Chase Performance Business Checking comes with a $20 monthly service fee. It can be waived if you maintain a combined average daily balance of $50,000 or more in linked business savings (excluding Client Funds Savings accounts), business CDs and other Chase Performance Business Checking accounts. That’s a large amount which would be impossible for some and would not make sense for others. You only need to keep the account open for 6 months, so even if you pay the fee, you come out with a nice bonus. Chase usually waives the fee for the first two months and you can also ask to be reimbursed when you first get hit with a monthly fee. So you should get more than $400 out of this.
A great point was brought up in the comments at DoC’s post. You might be able to downgrade the account after you receive the bonus. The Chase Total Business Checking account has a $10 monthly service fee which is waived with a $1,500 minimum daily balance. Most likely this will work, but there’s no data points yet.

Just like the personal checking account bonuses, it is not available to existing Chase business checking customers and those who have closed accounts within the past 90 days. You can still get this offer if you have a personal checking account.
