Southwest has added the ability for Rapid Rewards members to convert eligible travel funds into points. The option is already live and appears at the top of your account when you log in. The conversion rate is 1.282 cents per mile.

Southwest once again is letting travelers change flights for free, up to 14 days before, or after the flight date. What makes this incredibly generous is that they are also waiving not just the fee, but also the fare price difference. The new policy applies to both paid and award flights.

Southwest Free Drink Coupons Extended till Dec. 31
Southwest has quietly extended the expiration date, announcing the news in a post in its community blog. “Once service resumes, any drink coupons set to expire throughout 2020 will now expire December 31, 2020” the post says.
