Don’t Forget to Use Amex Streaming/Wireless Credits! Find Out Best Options Going Forward
Only a few days are left till the end on the year. American Express has been pretty generous with additional credits and perks during the pandemic and a great addition has been the streaming and wireless credits, which are set to expire on December 31, 2020. Hopefully you have been taking full advantage of these credits which can save you up to $40 monthly if you have a Platinum card, or $10 with the Green card. Also make sure you use them for this month, if you haven’t done so already.

During the pandemic, new benefits were introduced to several American Express cards. So make sure you use them for this month as well.

- Amex Platinum Card: $20 monthly credits for streaming services through the end of 2020.

Best Cards for Wireless Services
Once the year is over, then you should switch your payment method to a card that earns a better rate. Here are two options for wireless services:
- Chase Ink Business Cash: 5% on the first $25,000 spent on select business categories each year, including phone services.
- Chase Ink Business Preferred: 3% on the first $150,000 spent on select business categories each year, including phone services.
- Amazon Business Prime Amex: 20% back as a statement credit for wireless telephone service providers. Max. $50. Expires 3/7/2021.
Best Cards for Streaming Services
Once the year is over, then you should switch your payment method to a card that earns a better rate. Here are two options for streaming services:
- Amex Blue Cash Preferred: 6% cash back on select U.S. streaming services.
- U.S. Bank Cash+: Streaming is one of the 5% bonus categories (up to $2,000 per quarter).
- Capital One Savor: 4% cash back on streaming service subscriptions until April 30, 2021.
- Capital One SavorOne: 3% cash back on streaming service subscriptions until April 30, 2021.
- Amex Wells Fargo Propel: 3x points on select streaming services.
