Barclays Arrival Miles Can Be Redeemed for Groceries, Restaurant and Gas Purchases

The Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard or the no-fee Arrival card are no longer available, but for those who have them, there are new redemption options. The Arrival Plus card earns 2x on all purchases and 5% miles back to use toward your next redemption, every time you redeem. That makes it a 2.1X card for all spending. You can redeem your miles for travel statement credits starting at 10,000 miles for $100 toward all or a portion of your travel purchase of $100 or more made within the past 120 days. Miles don’t expire as long as your account is open, active and in good standing.

But since travel has not been an option for everyone, Barclays is letting cardholder use their miles for gas station, restaurant, and grocery store purchases through 1/31/21. That can definitely make redemptions much easier since these are popular categories that most people spend money on.
