Amex Statement Credit Bonus Offers
American Express is targeting select cardholders with everyday spend Amex Offers. These offers require large amount of spending, as much as $21,000 from what I have seen so far. But if you can hit that type of threshold, you can get an additional 2% cash back for all your spending. Check out some of these offers below, and let me know if you see them in your accounts. These offers are labeled as “Statement Credit Bonus Offer”.

Here’s what these offers look like:
- Get a $xxx statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum or $xx,xxx in one or more purchases by 12/15/2022. Limit of 3 statement credits.
Some examples include:
- Spend $21,000 – Get $420 Credit (3x)
- Spend $13,500 – Get $270 Credit (3x)
About Amex Offers
Amex Offers are an extra perk on all American Express credit cards, charge cards, and even prepaid cards. You can see these offers in your accounts either as a statement credit or extra Membership Rewards points for spending a certain amount at an eligible merchant. You will need to add the offer to a specific card, and then use that card to get the credit. Here are a few things you should know:- You should add the offer to your preferred card. Amex Offers are now limited to just one per person. So once you add it to one card, it disappears from other cards.
- You can use the Membership Rewards version and the statement credit version of the same offer.
- Check out a few options to quickly way to add all offers at once, or use the MaxRewards app that even lets you save offers on multiple cards.
- For third party Amex cards you can the American Express Connect site to check for offers and also add them to your cards.

An extra 2% on your spending is a great deal, especially if you have this offer on a card that earns 2% everywhere like Amex Business Plus, or cards that have good bonus earning categories. If you’re working on welcome bonuses, or spend for status and free nights, an extra 2% back is also a sweet deal.
