Update (Mar. 31, 2022) – Here’s a new link for a 30,000 Membership Rewards offer. I received this offer for one of my Amex Platinum cards. Offer expires 04/21/2022. It shows 20K bonus for me after I click, and it’s also giving me an error. I plan on trying again tomorrow, or maybe chatting with a rep and ask to enroll. Let me know if it works for you.

American Express is once again targeting some cardholders with an offer to earn 10,000 Membership Rewards points just for enrolling in “Pay Over Time” program. We see this Amex Pay Over Time bonus from time to time, and today more people have received emails with the offer. It’s good to see this bonus again, especially after the news that Green, Gold and Platinum Business Cards will be automatically enrolled in “Pay Over Time”.

What Is Pay Over Time

The “Pay Over Time” program is available for American Express “Pay over Time” cards and it basically transforms them into regular credit cards, as you don’t have to pay in full by your due date. DON’T DO THIS. Always pay your credit card balances in full when possible. But it is an option that you can sign up for, without having to actually use it. Wait for a bonus to sign up to do so. American Express currently offers these Pay over Time cards:

• Gold Card
• Business Gold Card
• Green Card
• Business Green Card

This Amex Pay Over Time bonus is quite generous. You get 10K, 20K, or 30K Membership Rewards points with less than 30 seconds of work. If you are eligible, then it is definitely worth it.
