- Offer valid for full-fare, pay-per-ride purchases made with your enrolled American Express Card at MTA subway turnstiles and on MTA buses.
- Contactless payment is defined as tapping your Card on the card reader or by linking and using your linked Card through a device digital wallet, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. - Excludes all mobile apps, such as but not limited to MTA TrainTime®. Excludes MTA MetroCards® or Rail Tickets purchased through Metro-North, or LIRR directly. Excludes contactless payments for MetroCards, Rail Tickets, or Bus Tickets at kiosks and on mobile apps.
- If you cannot use the contactless feature on your Card or device digital wallet for the purchase for any reason, your purchase will not qualify for the offer.
