American Airlines Announces Expanded Admirals Club at BNA
🔄️ Update: Arecent MNAA and MPC Finance Committee meeting has revealed more details about the lounge, as reported by VFTW. Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is proposing a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with American Airlines to facilitate the relocation and expansion of the Admiral’s Club into the new Concourse A at BNA. Under the existing Airline Use and Lease Agreement (AULA), the MNAA is obligated to provide “like-for-like” replacement space for the current 6,424-square-foot club. However, American Airlines has requested a significantly larger facility totaling 14,800 square feet, plus additional administrative space and outdoor terraces. The MNAA will provide a loan of approximately $12.6 million at a 5% interest rate, which American Airlines will repay over a ten-year term regardless of future lease status.

Original article – April 20, 2026:
American Airlines has announced plans for an expanded Admirals Club® lounge at Nashville International Airport’s (BNA) new Concourse A.
When complete, the approximately 17,400-square-foot lounge will be the largest airline lounge at BNA and nearly three times the size of the current lounge space, offering customers a more spacious and premium place to relax, work or recharge before their flight. The new location will feature sweeping views of the airfield and a design inspired by Nashville’s vibrant culture.
A standout feature of the new lounge will be its outdoor terraces providing airfield views and an indoor balcony overlooking the concourse. Construction on the new Admirals Club lounge is targeted to begin in 2027. American’s existing lounge space in Concourse C, Level 4 at BNA will remain open for customers throughout construction.
In other BNA news, Southwest is also planning its own lounge there and will reportedly spend $53 million to build it.
