Amazon has a new promotion with various discounts available for using American Express Membership Rewards points. Redeeming these points on Amazon is not a great idea. You can get much more value through other avenues. But luckily you can just use a single point for this promotion to get the Amazon Amex points discount.

Looks like the offer varies from one account to the other, and you could also not be targeted at all. These are the available offers:
- $20 off $80+
- $10 off $50+
- $5 off $30+
To get the discount:

- To redeem this offer, you must use Membership Rewards points for at least a portion of your order.

- If any of the products related to your original order are returned, subject to Amazon’s refund policy, you will receive a refund of the amount charged to your card first, followed by Membership Rewards points.
