American Airlines has some great prices for travel to/from Kona and Honolulu in Hawaii. I saw best prices when looking for one way flights. $139 was for flights from Kona to EWR. The other way it will cost you just a few more dollars. Similar prices for Houston and Denver as well.
There’s availability from October 2018 until April 2019, but there’s not many seats available so hurry and take a look if you’re interested.
Keep in mind these restrictions for Basic Economy:
- Seats assigned at check-in
- Not eligible for upgrades
- No flight changes or refunds
- Board in last group

Very good prices for travel to Hawaii, but keep in mind that these are Basic Economy seats.
Don’t forget to use Amex Platinum (5x on airfare) or Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on travel), Citi Prestige (3x on airfare) or one of the other best cards for travel purchases. You can also use travel credit from your Citi Prestige or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
