Earning and Redeeming Points
The Barclay Frontier Credit Card will earn at the following rates:
- 5X miles on purchases at flyfrontier.com
- 3X miles on restaurant purchases
- 1X mile on all other purchases
You can use as little as 20,000 miles (from $11.20 in fees/taxes) for a domestic round trip award ticket within the United States.

You can reach Elite Status faster with this card by earning 1 Qualifying Mile with every $1 spent on purchases.
- After spending $20,000 on purchases in a calendar year, you’ll receive Elite 20k status benefits such as a free carry-on bag and advance seat assignment.
- Spend $50,000 on purchases in a calendar year, and you’ll receive Elite 50k status which includes all the benefits from Elite 20k, plus benefits such as family seating and mileage multiplier.
- Spend $100,000 on purchases in a calendar year, and you’ll receive Elite 100k status which includes all the benefits from Elite 50k, plus you and all passengers traveling with you get the WORKS! Includes, carry-on bag, checked bag, best seats on the plane, no change fees and refundability.

A decent card for those who often fly Frontier. The signup bonus will get you two round trips in Economy within the US. You also have the opportunity to earn Elite Status through credit card spending. That might not always make sense as you can earn more valuable points with other cards, but some of you might find it useful.
