It comes with the added bonus of 10x points at U.S. Gas Stations and U.S. Supermarkets, on up to $15,000 in combined purchases, during your first 6 months. That is already an incredible offer, but a select few are seeing something even better than that.
There is also a rare 125,000 welcome bonus showing the Amex Platinum Card, that comes with the 10X earning at U.S. Gas Stations and U.S. Supermarkets. There are several data points of people seeing this offer today, but it is still a rare sighting.

To check if you have any improved welcome offers, just go to the American Express website, click on ‘Cards‘ at the top of the page and then click ‘Check for Pre-Qualified Credit Card Offers’. There you can enter some basic information and you will see a set of offers. These could be the same as the public offers, or better.

Guru’s Wrap-up
The offer for the Amex Platinum Card went from a great one for 75K through Resy, to an amazing one for 100K and now this unbelievable 125K offer. The latter is pretty rare, but it is still worth checking to see if you are able to pull it up. Let me know if you see it.
