1,000 Bonus Points for Select Chase Cardholders

Chase wants to promote the contactless payments feature on its credit cards. The issuer is even offering a bonus to select cardholders if they use ‘Tap to Pay’ three times over the next three months.

The offer was sent out by email to Chase Freedom and Sapphire cardholders only I believe. But, not all of them. Those who are targeted can earn 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points. That bonus is easily worth $15 and possible more.

Get 1,000 bonus points after you tap to pay three times from September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021 when each purchase is $3.35 or more. No enrollment is necessary.

Offer Terms

• You’ll earn an additional 1,000 bonus points, which can be redeemed for $10 cash back for 3 contactless purchases from 09/01/2021 through 11/30/2021 using your product during checkout. Each contactless purchase must be a minimum of $3.35.
• Purchases are when you, or an authorized user, use a card to make purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds.
• Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after the qualifying purchase(s) post(s) to your account for bonus points to post to your credit card account.
• To qualify, your account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. If you change your credit card product during the promotional period you will forfeit this offer. This offer is non-transferable. We may terminate this offer at any time without notice.

Check your email inbox and hopefully you have an offer from Chase in there for cards like Freedom Flex or Sapphire Preferred. The emails seem to have different subject lines.

If targeted, it should be an easy bonus. You can make any three purchases of $3.35 or more as long as you use tap to pay. You can easily do this at your self checkout line at your grocery store, or maybe a gas station that has the option at the pump. But there are plenty of other ways. 

1,000 bonus points might not that much, but anytime you can get easy points, that’s a win in my book.
